Random B.S.

Welcome to the section of my site reserved for anything that doesn't fit into the other categories. It could be strange and off the wall, or it might just be some really boring stuff. Who knows?! 🤷🤷

Collection of Retro Heavy Metal Magazine Covers

    Classic Monster Magazines

      Classic Sci-Fi Magazines

        Pizza Inn

        My favorite 70's pizza joint.

When I was a kid, I loved going to Pizza Inn. The interior was amazing, and it was such a great restaurant with awesome pizza and atmosphere. I know they still exist, but I have no idea if the food tastes the same as it used to. I’m sure the interior and exterior are different now, and while the food might still be the same, I doubt it. I just miss the iconic look and feel of the place. As a teen, it was all about Pizza Hut, but that was only because Pizza Inn wasn’t in my area anymore.

        Old School Technology

        Betamax

        Laser Disc

        Laser Disc

We had two of these when I was a kid. One in the living room and one in my dad's room. This was big and heavy. I personally feel it was a better format than VHS, but I imagine the debate will go on till the end of time. I wish I still had mine and my older tapes.

        Laser Disc

        Laser Disc

        Laser Disc

Here is another monster that we had two of. My dad had one in his room, and we had one in the living room. I liked this one as a kid due to the shiny records it would play. Some of the films had multiple discs. This is another piece of old tech I wish I still had.  I have some current DVD's that actually used the laserdisc version.

        Freakies Cereal

        Blast from the past!

I can’t for the life of me remember how these suckers tasted. I looked up the commercial for them and don’t recall any of it either. I do remember all the magnets on my parents’ refrigerator, so I know I had them. If you want to see the classic commercial narrated by Burgess Meredith, just click the picture.

I just wanted to make a short post about it since I came across it the other day, and it hit me like a ton of bricks—a massive nostalgia overload, you might say. Let me know if you remember anything about this cereal!
